Alchemy of Colours Soaps, Bath & Skin Care Products are made using traditional cold process soaping methods and techniques, and our ingredients are sourced from ethical suppliers (as far as practical) who we feel share the same values we do.

We work out of our soaping workshop at our home; ‘The Farm’ in Portishead, Somerset, England. The gift boxes and products we  create are inspired by our passion for great stories, and nature plays a big part when developing and producing the products. We like to say that our soaps are made by nature, with a little help from us. We are committed to supporting biodiversity and protecting the environment and never use single use plastic in the production process, and try to limit plastic as much as possible in the packaging as well. The kraft gift boxes are also eco-friendly, being made from recycled materials, and the decorative wasabi tape is all paper. 

​We realise that shipping has a negative impact on our carbon footprint, but we hope you can see that we are trying our best to become climate positive. We appreciate that there are many amazing organisations around who do wonderful work for the environment, and as a small business it is not possible to support them all. We do, however, make regular donations to the Ocean Conservation Trust as well as The World Land Trust as we feel they do really great work which is close to our hearts.

We also donate to Ecologi, who support various carbon avoidance projects around the world. They have a a range of reforestation partners who grow millions of trees every month. Every tree makes a positive impact for nature, wildlife, and people. Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute positively to our health and well-being, and create jobs world wide. We only have one earth, so let's look after her.
