Product Information

Alchemy of Colours products are designed for cosmetic purposes only and are not intended for medicinal use. Our formulations are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or disease. Customers are advised to follow product instructions, precautions, and guidelines carefully, and to check the ingredients to avoid allergic reactions.

Please note that the product you receive may vary slightly from the product image displayed on our website. Variations in fragrance, colour, and texture are normal, especially with natural cosmetics. We take reasonable care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices on our website are accurate; however, minor discrepancies or errors may occur.

Definition of Natural

Our definition of "natural" refers to ingredients that are minimally processed and derived from nature without synthetic additives, unless clearly stated.

There are currently no legal standards for the use of words like natural, plant-based, botanic, or green, nor is there any regulatory body overseeing these terms.
Alchemy of Colours follows the scale suggested by Formula Botanica, categorizing different levels of 'Natural' skincare on a spectrum: Naturally Obtained, Naturally Derived, Nature Identical, and Naturally Derived-Mimicking Synthetic Minerals. Unless specified, our formulations are a combination of Naturally Obtained and Naturally Derived ingredients.

Payment is required upfront before orders are dispatched. In the event that a payment is declined, Alchemy of Colours is not responsible for any delays or non-delivery. We are not obligated to notify customers of failed payments.​

Pricing

All prices listed on the Alchemy of Colours website are in GBP (£) and inclusive of applicable taxes. Shipping costs are not included in the listed product prices unless otherwise specified.

Orders

By placing an order on our website, you agree to give:

Your real name

Your e-mail address

Your billing address

A delivery address (this maybe the same as your billing address)

A contact phone number (in case we need to speak to you about your order)

If the technology fails us or we make a genuine mistake, your order attempt may be unsuccessful. We will do everything we can to resolve this and aim to put that smile firmly back on your face. Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, and then one within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. Depending on which delivery option you've selected, you then have a rough idea of when to start running the bath or shower, or when your next stash of skin and hair care products will be with you. If something is not in stock, we will let you know as soon as possible after the order has been placed.

Once you are ready to check out, you will be directed to the shipping confirmation page where you may select the type of delivery, and the delivery and/or billing addresses.

An order is confirmed once you receive an email with an order confirmation number. Alchemy of Colours reserves the right to reject or cancel any order at any time for any reason.

Pre-Ordering

We may offer pre-released products not yet produced or available for general sale. Pre-orders require the same information as standard orders. It is your responsibility to ensure that the provided information is accurate and up-to-date, as incorrect information (e.g., previous addresses) may cause delays in dispatch

Shipping

Alchemy of Colours ships exclusively within the UK. Our shipping options include:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48

We recommend downloading our delivery partners' apps for up-to-date tracking, delivery time windows, or to manage your delivery.

Free shipping is available for orders over £60 via Royal Mail Tracked 48. We do not deliver to PO boxes or military postings.

All items are dispatched on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Please note, the dispatch date refers to the date it is sent, not the delivery date. Allow at least one day for your package to arrive. If your order hasn’t arrived, please email us at hello.alchemyofcolours@gmail.com with your name, order number, and address, and we will investigate the issue.

You must contact us within two days of dispatch if your order hasn't arrived. If you fail to do so, it may be too late to resolve the issue, and we cannot be held responsible for missing orders.

We may split your order into several parts based on stock availability. No extra shipping charges will apply for split deliveries.

Please note that deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays. During weeks with a Bank Holiday Monday, we will dispatch on Wednesdays and Fridays instead.

Damaged Parcels

If your Alchemy of Colours products arrive damaged, we apologize for the inconvenience. You can return the products to us, and we will offer an e-gift card, exchange (where possible), or a full refund. We will cover the postage cost for returning damaged items. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

Alchemy of Colours takes data protection seriously. Your personal information will be securely stored and used only as part of the contractual agreement when purchasing our products. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we collect, use, and store customer data.

Cancellations and Returns

Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days, and pre-orders are dispatched as soon as the product is available. You can cancel an order before dispatch to avoid return shipping costs.

We offer a 30-day return policy. Customers must notify us within 30 days of receiving their product if they wish to return it. Returned products must be in their original, unopened condition to be eligible for a refund. Damaged, used, or altered products will not be refunded. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, both domestically and internationally.

Faulty Products

We are committed to providing products that match their descriptions and specifications. If your product is faulty or mis-described, we will refund the full price, including any applicable delivery charges. Returns are required in cases of faulty products.

Complaints​

If you have a complaint, we will attempt to resolve it through our internal procedure. If this does not lead to a resolution, you may submit the dispute for mediation via The Retail Ombudsman or the Online Resolution Dispute Platform.

Events Beyond Our Control

Alchemy of Colours is not responsible for any failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to: strikes, civil commotion, terrorism, fire, adverse weather, or governmental actions.

Resale

You agree not to commercially resell any of our products. Commercial resale is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Payment and Security

We do not store credit card data. All payments are processed securely via Wix. Pre-order payments will be accepted only upon dispatch.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Variation

We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will replace these terms on our website.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
